Printer Support: Single and double sided printing to almost any model card printer with Windows printer driver (Fargo, Zebra, Evolis, Magicard etc).

Text and Images: Static and data-driven text, formatted Rich Text. All common image file-types supported. Data-driven images from database binary objects or simple path/filename data fields.

Image Capture: On-the-fly image capture for identity card production. Interfaces to most cameras, webcams and scanners with either Twain or Windows Video Capture. Option to save captured image files to database.

Magstripe and Barcodes Supports a wide range of printer models by using control characters for magstripe encoding. Standard barcode types: Code 39, Code 93, Code 128, Interleaved 2 of 5, EAN, CODABAR. 2D barcodes: QR Code, Micro QR and PDF417.

Database Connectivity: Internal engine for delimited or fixed spaced data files. ODBC driver connection to other data types (Excel, Access, SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL etc). SQL queries and unicode database support.

Virtual Data Fields: Simple scripting enables data fields to be combined and formatted. Scripting supports logical arguments, automatic counters and output of log files.

Manual Input: Templates can be created for easy manual personalisation when a data connection is not required. Adding and editing data records is supported with data connection.

Command-line Automation: Print from an external application, Python script, .bat file etc using command line options. Batch print from multiple data files, apply SQL Queries or print to different printers.

CR8 Card printing Software has only one licensing tier - with all of the above features.

CR8 Card Printing Software is not in active development (meaning no more major feature upgrades) but will continue to be fully supported indefinitely. There may be free minor updates or fixes released from time to time.
